A Woolly Bugger of course

Nice - does it kill the back to do one? Seems like it'd be tedious. Looks good to me - not sure if that really means anything!

It's not as hard as it looks in someways and it is alot harder than it looks in other ways. Does that make sense? There are a lot of things I did not do right on this fly that I already have figured out. Oh well, a woolly bugger is sure an easy fly to start out on. I tried a Steelhead Fly last night, a Purple Matuka and it turned out less than steller.

I have found already that in learning how to tie flies I have actually gained some valuable knowlege on the feeding habits of trout that I was not aware of. I think that tying flies will have the added benefit of making me a better fly fisherman in the process. If I can actually make a fly that looks like a bug that is.
